Better Homes and Gardens - American Patchwork Quilter - October, 2007, Issue has an article about Two Hearts on Page 1 under "it's sew about making a difference!".  "Two Hearts Quilt Shop, In Harlingen, Texas, issued a call for quilt blocks in red, white and blue.  From donated blocks, shop employees completed quilts for mothers of fallen South Texas Soldiers."

Simple Information and Education for My Quilting Friends
I recently sent a quilt to a quilter whom, without my permission,  decided to post a blog on a longarm quilting blog site - regarding my quilt (not mentioning that we will have kits on our website) - recording what pattern  was used, what fabric was used, even what company I got the fabric from. It was an absolute fluke that I came upon this blog...but I am glad that I  did. Ladies, and gentleman(men), your quilts are your "intellectual  property".  They are
a product of what you designed or put together.   That is why we don't allow photo taking in our classrooms or of the quilts we  have in the store - because some of these quilts and designs belong to the  intellect of those who have them displayed or made them.  And, it is also  why we have disclaimers and advisements on this website. I, now, am  going to have some contracts put together for my future use prior to sending a  quilt to a quilter. No quilter should photocopy, put information on  the internet, disclose information regarding your quilt, add any additional  quilting designs, et al to your quilt prior to getting your permission.

Basically, just be careful, know your quilter, have a good understanding between you both.  I know that many of you will be presenting some of your quilts at the different quilt shows - and you surely don't want the beans out of the bag about your quilt before you get there!

This information is intended to educate/inform my quilting  friends and protect your creativity and ownership of your quilts.
